Branch Real Estate Co, Inc. specializes in rentals and sales in Upper Manhattan better known as Harlem. Covering the Hamilton Heights District, Mount Morris Park, Manhattanville, Astor Row, East Harlem, Strivers Row, Washington Heights, St. Nicholas Historic District, and more. This firm is headed by Jimmy Branch who has been a licensed Real Estate Broker for over 24 years. This Harlemite enjoys sharing information about the history of this fascinating place. Jimmy has a wealth of knowledge to share with you and has stated," Knowing the history of a neighborhood both past and present is so critical when making a decision to relocate". He is also very well acquainted with many long time residents, business persons, politicians and church leaders. Mr. Branch originally moved to Harlem with his wife and two children over 35 years ago. He's lived on various blocks in Harlem and could colorfully described the many transformations this neighborhood has undergone. During the early 70's he moved his family to Queens, New York where he would received a Masters Degree in Education from Queens College. He taught in public school for 4 years and pursued a part time career in real estate sales. Jimmy found his niche and would later open his first independent establishment in the early 80's. This firm specialized in sales and rentals for residential and commercial properties. On his spare time, it wasn't uncommon for Jimmy to travel back to Harlem across the Triboro Bridge to stay connected to the energy and people of this dynamic place. He stayed on the pulse of the Harlem scene by attending church services and listening to Jazz music on Sundays. Harlem then and now has a church and jazz legacy. Ironically, he would later sell the famous Lenox Lounge Jazz Club and the P.A.L. building of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in Harlem. In the early nineties Jimmy moved back to Harlem permanently to reacquaint himself with the Real Estate scene and became affiliated with Webb & Brooker Inc, Real Estate Co. There he expanded his knowledge of brokerage particularly in the Upper Manhattan area by selling and leasing many real estate parcels. Jimmy would later go independent and considers himself is a proud resident and business owner of Harlem. "I look forward to assisting you in finding the property of your dreams. You can take full advantage of my 35 years of experience". |
